Big Band(width) Week
Wow, what happened to the time?
First thing to do is finish off that Big Band(width) 'Week' thing I was up to when I was so rudely interrupted by Real Life. I just wanted to list four 'sounds-like' sites (that are kind of music related):
- Global Chillage — An Amsterdam nightclub with a flash-heavy site.
- Global Chillage - Tokyo — A Tokyo music store, also on the heavy side.
- Global Village — RouseWorld's other favorite modem manufacturer.

Randomness
First off all, shout out to my Grandma recovering from hip-replacement surgery at Nash General in Rocky Mount, NC. Yeaa! I was visiting her last night, thus no Monday update.
Second of all, shout out to "The Peace Corps broad" toughing it out at Oldies 100.7's Last Survivor contest. You go girl!
I haven't been watching Big Brother on television, but I've found Salon's coverage of the show to be the web worth watching, or reading. Also interesting are hints that the behind-the-scenes story of the show might be more interesting that what is being shown on TV.
I've just tried the live feed this evening. Umm. I think you would really have to watch a lot to get hooked or whatever. Do they just sit on the couch all day? Without editing they don't seem so riveting.
Last but not least, next Tuesday, August 29, will be RouseWorld's first birthday. I'll try to do something special...

Okay, okay. I had wanted to have a Wednesday schedule for the Packet because sites like Suck and The Onion put out their best on Wednesday. But it just isn't working for me, time-wise. I think I'm going to try for Saturday ... hey, then maybe I can post party pictures while I still am thinking about them.

Glad to see that our "Peace Corps broad" is still hanging tough in the Jeep tent. Keep on trucking girlie!
It's the third anniversary of Ana Voog's cam site and she is supposed to be celebrating by staying naked all week. Naturally, I haven't seen her at all this week, oh well — nice bookcases!
