Randomness

Ha! And now it has been longer than that.

Here is one of the most
disturbing yet captivating things
I have seen in a long time. I've been thinking about those heavy imponderable
questions of the universe. Like: Does good rock come and go in
12 year cycles?
Is D&D gay?
Where do Pop Tarts come from?
What happens to the kittens?
What the **** are you reading?
Why, why, why tell me why!
Probably best not to think about it and just keep aiming at his head.

Dogme 95

Have you been following the whole Dogme 95 film movement
thing? No? Released last year
The King is Alive looks to be an interesting example of that type of film
making. The film, an intellectual horror movie, tells the story of
a bus that breaks down in the African desert and how the passengers decide to put together a rendition of the play
King Lear. And hey, it's got
Jennifer Jason Leigh in it!

MUDing

Work on the MUD version of RouseWorld (I'm calling it the Awakened World, get it?) is slow. Just describing the
administrative sections of the world (that players won't even see) in a satisfactory way is taking a lot of time.
But I'm starting to understand the unspoken rules to building a world like this, so its fun all the same.

Please don't ask how I found
this essay by Larry Niven
on Superman and Lois Lane. This dude has a bunch of older, but very funny, text files.

No cancer, no victim

Who are we,
that cry for something sad that never happened?
Only human, I guess. Note — an In Passing entry normally doesn't get this many
comments, so reading the page is a little awkward. Try reading the very top, then scroll down to bottom and read up.
Then go back down for page two, if you like.
