Randomness
Hey! — let's all spy on Paul Mathis! And once you are done with the entertainment possibilities
at his place, check out my sync rant in the Wayward Packet.

Numbers stations
One random remark on the Slashdot and I'm plunged into an odd little pool of subculture,
call it spyspotting. There are folks out there
with the equipment and time to track so-called "utility transmissions" many of which are
suspected of being spy transmissions. There are lots of sites with
recordings of these
signals, but there are no answers as to possible meanings of these
strange broadcasts.
It's odd to think that we are living our happy little lives while monstrous secrets boom and crackle through
what we consider the clear, blue sky (apologies to Lovecraft).

The Onion
Ah, it's good to see that the Onion still has
got it.

So, am I a computer packrat?
I guess that's like asking if Art is real, or
just some lofty ideal. Well, okay, maybe
I'm reaching here. But I have been thinking about ways to make money
(or something) with computers.
I would mind selling out as long as I don't,
you know.
Questions of the week:
Does
your job suck this bad?
What are you doing for Valentine's Day?
Well that was a mess, but I did want to get those links out before too much time had passed.

A vision of the future
I've got a Vision of the Future, in the Wayward Packet.
