Okay, let me get this straight...
So I'm watching TV this afternoon, because everybody else is. They are showing, you know, the footage from Iraq's capital of Baghdad. And I see these guys riding around in a pickup and I swear this one guy has a party hat going on.
So what does this tell us?
In America the nay sayers and the Left were telling us that America is committing this horrible crime against the people of Iraq and that we are getting into another Vietnam. The people themselves shall rise up against us, we are told.
Meanwhile -- nay simultaneously -- a conversation was happening in Iraq that must have gone something like this:
"Well, Ted, what are you going to do when the Americans get here?"
"Bill, honestly, I'm going to break out the damn party hats."
Hey everybody in the American Left -- it still doesn't look like Vietnam to me.
