I can't remember where I was, when I ran into this edits page. In case you haven't checked out the edits scene, the idea is people mixing up and cutting back and forth between songs as they do sometimes live in clubs (i.e. - real DJing).
Some of the stuff is pretty good, or at least amusing.

I'm still thinking about your July 4th post, but I don't have a real coherent answer yet. I suppose you have already looked at stuff like "The Bridge of San Luis Rey" -- although that really isn't the question you ask.
You would have to ask one of *the* questions...
The best is Ray of Gob. I think you can still download the video version, which is an excellent send-up of the Sex Pistols and Madonna.
